Ashley Smith [Broker]

My passion for horses and a rural lifestyle is part of what landed me at Horsepower Real Estate. I know that finding a property to fit a desired lifestyle is of utmost importance to people and their families, animals, businesses or hobbies. I also understand that selling an established homestead can be a long and emotional process. I enjoy helping clients who are buying or selling homes in town and have all the necessary skills to complete residential real estate transactions with a breeze. I’m here to guide you through either way.

With a strong legal background I bring to the table many skills such as professionalism, communication, confidentiality and ethics practices. As a previous small business owner, I have learned to be a self-driven worker and problem solver.

I received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Oregon in 2014 after studying Spanish and Business Administration. I spent 5 years working as a Paralegal for a law firm that handles breach of contract civil suits in Eugene, Oregon. Before that, I was the owner and operator of Oregon Process Service, a process serving company that delivers legal documents across Lane County. I have also spent some time as a volunteer for Victim Services, which is a division of the Lane County District Attorney’s Office, and, served on the Board of Directors for NALS of Lane County, an association for legal professionals.

I love caring for my animals and competing in barrel racing when I have time. I’ve volunteered my time as a riding instructor for the Eugene Pony Club and have been an active member of the Eugene Pro Rodeo Committee for several years. My family and I also enjoy camping and hunting trips. I'd love to chat with you about your real estate goals, contact me today!
